To be fair I don’t give too much of a shit about Christmas anymore, be glad when it’s all over and can get back to normal.

From a West Ham perspective, yes it’s been a shit year and the game and result on Saturday just about summed it up, personally 2017 was average, not great but not shit either.

Personally, it wasn't a DISASTROUS year, just a complete fucking waste of time.

I got older, fatter, less handsome, started going BALD, achieved fuck all.

I turned 44 this year.
At the start of the year I was in the same shit job I'd been in for nearly the last decade. Shit hours, no prospects and reasonably shit money had it not been for the overtime...but who wants to work every hour god gives?

I started my new job this year, applied for it despite not having the qualifications or experience. After 2 interviews I got offered it. Lovely hours, weekends off and money better than what I was getting.

2017 was good to me and Christmas is the bollocks.

Easily the worst year of my life, but Christmas for me is all about family.

No it isn't. Your life revolves around the attention your fake persona receives on this football forum.

A shit year indeed. Mum died in January and as you know per other thread dad is very ill in Hospital now and The Irons were as shit as they have been.
Surely 2018 has to be an improvement?

We need a thread like this so those of us not infused with the CHRISTMAS FUCKING SPIRIT can have a collective whinge and shrug at each other in a "for fuck's sake" manner.

It's the fascists that want to make a big deal about Christmas that sicken me, you seem to be drawn into it. I have stopped sending cards and will only buy presents for my immediate family. If any of them want decorations they can do them themselves.

Fuck Christmas

Re: The "Christmas is bollocks and 2017 was shit" thread.
It’s the constant bollocks of being told in the run up that everyone is looking forward to Christmas, and all the shit songs about having a wonderful time, well I don’t look forward to it, I tolerate it and that’s about it, I tell everyone I don’t do all this Christmas present shit except for family, but some cunts at work or vague acquaintances still give me things, usually chocolates that have no doubt been given numerous times already, my misses is big on it though, as are all her friends and woman in general, but its all crap they give each other, bizarre if you ask me.

Only 9-30am and im bored and already thinking of having my first beer, on a normal day I rarely have a drink until early evening if at all, been doing the 2 days a week with no alcohol, pretty easy really and just showed I often drink out of habit, not that im a heavy drinker, don’t feel any different for it mind.

Roll on January 2nd and back to normality.
